Education & Experience
A native of Hamilton, Dr. Simali Garach comes from a family of dentists. Following in the footsteps of her father and uncles, she graduated from the University of Toronto with her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree before going onto pursue a career in dentistry.
Passions & Pastimes
Dr. Simali Garach’s interests outside of the dental world include a love of music, art, literature, travel, and cuisine. She is a flutist with Sinfonia Ancaster and a dedicated supporter of the arts in the Hamilton community. She has shared her passion for music with her two children, who are now attending university and paving their career paths.

By combining modern techniques with a friendly, patient-first philosophy, Dr. Levin focuses on clear communication, personalized treatment and long-term oral health, so you feel cared for every step of the way.
Education & Experience
Dr. Larry Levin graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry, earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. After this, he went on to divide his time between clinical dentistry and dental research for an ergonomic dental equipment manufacturer before establishing his own Hamilton dental practice, City Place Dental.
Passions & Pastimes
Dr. Levin enjoys motorcycles, photography, skiing, scuba diving, and, most of all, spending time with his family. He has been actively involved in the community, serving as a Cub leader, school board member, UJA Federation of Greater Toronto president, and past president of Shalom Village Nursing Home.
Dr. Reza Roodsar

By tailoring each Invisalign treatment plan to the individual, Dr. Roodsar ensures results that are not only effective, but fit seamlessly into patients’ lifestyles. His goal is to build trust, answer questions clearly and guide patients step by step toward a healthier, straighter smile.
Education & Experience
Dr. Reza Roodsar earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Azad University in his native Iran in 1999 before moving to Canada to continue his career in dentistry. He attended and graduated from the Schulich School of Business at York University before going on to establish his dental practice in Kitchener, Ontario.
Dr. Kwon Kim

Dr. Kim is the Implant and Surgical Dentistry Director, known for delivering precise, carefully planned care with a calm and reassuring approach. Patients appreciate the time he takes to understand their needs and explain treatment clearly, helping them feel informed, supported and at ease from start to finish.
Focusing on implant surgery, bone and soft-tissue grafting and wisdom tooth removal, Dr. Kim is especially praised by patients for how gentle, quick and compassionate he is during procedures. Many are surprised by how smooth and comfortable their experience feels. With the option of IV sedation, he helps even anxious patients relax while restoring function, comfort and confident smiles.
Education & Experience
After growing up in Stratford, Dr. Kwon Kim went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University. He then completed a Master’s degree in Implantology from Saint Camillus International University of Health Sciences in Rome, where he continues to serve as a visiting professor. He also holds the position of Director and Faculty for the GDIA Dental Implant Live Surgery Course in Tijuana, Mexico, and as an Opinion Leader and faculty member for Hiossen® Implant Canada.
Passions & Pastimes
Dr. Kim is the co-author of Simple Immediate Implants and co-editor of Minimally Invasive and Atraumatic Extraction of Third Molars. Beyond dentistry, he enjoys spending time with family outdoors.
Dr. Javaria Taufiq

Dr. Taufiq’s communication skills and fluency in English, Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi enable her to care for a diverse and multicultural clientele. She is dedicated to patient care and satisfaction and makes every effort to ensure her patients feel appreciated, comfortable, and confident while in her care. Dr. Taufiq offers a wide range of treatments, from general dentistry to more complex procedures such as root canals, nitrous oxide sedation, and clear aligner orthodontic treatment, each tailored to the patient’s unique needs and oral healthcare goals.
Education & Experience
Dr. Javaria Taufiq obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from the prestigious de Montmorency College of Dentistry in her home country of Pakistan. She completed a one-year general practice residency at Punjab Dental Hospital in Lahore, Pakistan. Following this, she underwent an intensive four-year residency in Operative Dentistry and Endodontics at the esteemed College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan. Following her immigration to Canada, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honours from the University of Toronto.

Dr. Taufiq is a music lover who enjoys travelling, sampling the cuisine of other cultures, and spending quality time with family and friends.
